Lalaoopsy Sew Magical Mermaid Doll – Coral Sea Shells

Lalaloopsy Coral Sea Shells was once a rag doll who magically came to life when her very last stitch was sewn. Coral Sea Shells was made from pieces of  a swimmers bathing suit. She’s super- imaginative and she loves to pretend she’s a real mermaid. Her favorite hobbies are swimming with the fish and eating seaweed salad. She has a pet blowfish.

My kids have been big into mermaid toys lately… probably because they love to play in the bathtub for extended periods of time. When I noticed the Lalaloopsy now has a mermaid version, I knew they had to have her. Emma plays with her Lalaloopsy dolls on an almost daily basis!

Lalaloopsy arrived in a pretty blue mermaid suit accompanied by a swimsuit for land use and her pet blowfish. She has adorable button eyes, pink rosey cheeks, pretty purple hair pulled back with a bow with jointed arms and legs.

We spared no time grabbing our swimsuits (for modeling purposes only) and heading to the bathroom!

Emma was delighted to watch Coral’s hair turn colors when she hit the water. Dry, her hair is purplish… wet it turns pink! She played with her as a mermaid for a while and then did a quick clothing change so they could play together in the water as friends.

As you can see from the mess in the tub, my kids love water toys. Ethan fell for the pet blowfish and had a great time squirting across the room while Emma “went swimming” with Coral. Little Tikes has a hit on their hands with this line!
