Universal Orlando Opens Cabana Bay Beach Resort
I was not compensated for this post. I thought this resort looked & sounded amazing and wanted to share!
Close your eyes and let your mind slip back… back to a simpler time. Back to the 50’s and 60’s. Wouldn’t it be fabulous to be able to sneak off to a place like that for a family vacation?
Now it is!
Universal Orlando introduces Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
Cabana Bay Beach Resort will feature 900 family suites (sleeping up to six), two amazing pools with a lazy river, a 10-lane bowling alley and be Universal Orlando’s value on-site property.
Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is celebrating its 2014 opening with an incredible preview offer, allowing guests to be among the first to experience Universal Orlando’s new moderate-and value-priced property, inspired by iconic beach resorts of the 1950’s and 60’s.
For a limited time, the whole family can experience Cabana Bay Beach Resort’s new family suites with rates starting at $104 per night for a seven-night stay to $134 per night for a three-night stay. Offering up to 47 percent savings off regular prices, this introductory offer is available now for purchase for stays from March 31 to June 14, 2014. Full details are below.
The all-new family suites sleep up to six, surrounding guests with bold design, period colors, neon and a cool retro feel. The suites also feature a kitchenette with microwave, mini-refrigerator and sink. Combining affordability with convenience, the hotel’s location is within walking distance of both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Plus, hotel guests enjoy Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter one hour before the theme park opens.
Cabana Bay Beach Resort is Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth on-site hotel with striking color schemes and nifty, nostalgic details throughout the décor. The new, 1800-room hotel features moderately priced family suites available this spring at the special preview price and value-priced guest rooms available in summer of 2014 along with a wealth of recreation. When complete, guests can experience a 10-lane bowling alley and enjoy two massive pools with sand beaches, a lazy river, waterslide and more.

Those are awesome prices especially with them running into the summer months. I can’t believe that is for a family suite either.
We visited Universal Orlando two years ago and would love to go back again. This resort looks magnificent.
Hoping for a family vacation next year, this will be great!
this place looks fabulous and not too expensive. i love 50s and 60s decor so i know i would love it!
This looks like sooo much fun!! We are having a baby in February and I can’t wait to take her to Universal and Disney. I’ve never stayed at one of the resorts. I’ll have to remember this one 🙂
This looks really nice. We are in the beginning stages of planning our Orlando vacation, so I’ll definitely check this out.
Because of it being so touristy, I have NO desire to ever going there. Gahhh not me.
Wondering if my sister knows about this I have never heard her mention it and now that I am at her place in Bradenton, this would be so much fun.
It’s -30 here today. I’d love to be at this resort!
I’m going to Orlando in the fall and looking at different hotels. Will have to check this one out!
