Staying on Track with Lean Cuisine & Skinny Cow #31Days

I recently had the pleasure of trying out two new products (to us).

Lean Cuisine Pepperoni Pizza and Skinny Cow Mint Truffles.

After a little research online checking for coupons and nutritional information I was ready to hit the store!

I’ve recently decided that late night trips to “the mart” are so much more pleasurable (alone).

After finding that Lean Cuisine pepperoni pizzas have only 350 calories, 8 grams of fat and are only 7 Weight Watchers points… I decided that was what I was going to have the family try.

They were easy to find and affordable (especially with the coupons from online and All You Magazine!).

It seems that the chocolate truffle Skinny Cow is pretty popular! I love mint ice cream, so I decided we’d give that a try.

The pizza cooked up nicely (and quickly) on the included crisper tray.

Picky eaters #1 & #2 both loved it. Emma actually ate her entire pizza before Ethan finished his second piece.

Ethan & Emma both LOVED the Skinny Cow mint truffle.

You can see who really loves their mommy here. This is the reactions I received when I asked for a bite.

I love that Lean Cuisine products are low in calories & fat, they are appropriate serving sizes, cook up nicely (and quickly!) and are appealing.

The Skinny Cow Truffle was a hit at our house! It wasn’t “too big”, also low in calories & fat… but big on taste and satisfaction.

  1. You did some great research ahead of time! Love that you went to the sites.. and found your coupons.
I have tried several of the pizzas but not the pepperoni. That looks great too.
Your kids are so cute! What better critic than that?

  2. I’m not sure I would have shared my ice cream with you either!
Came over from the Tuesday Hop. Nice to meet you.
