Radio Flyer Style ‘N Ride Scooter Review

This is a guest review written by Laura Nelson:

When Heather asked me if I wanted to help review a Radio Flyer Scooter I did not hesitate. I am a Grandma and grew up in the days of the red Radio Flyer wagon. They were charming, and so sturdy they seemed to last forever.

When I opened up the package the Radio Flyer Style ‘N Ride came in, I was not disappointed. It is extremely sturdy and solid, not light plastic junk, a scooter meant to be handed down. It is so very cute and again it reminds me of the way things USED to be made. The exception would be the wheels, which are a high quality solid rubber that is definitely nicer and smoother gliding than the old style.

It came from the box in three pieces with four screws to attach the parts. It looked like a ten minute job, but with my arthritic ‘Granny’ hands acting up, I called in my fifteen year old son to turn the screws. It took a total of twenty minutes to put together. That includes personalizing the scooter. It has cute little stickers that go on the moveable colored plastic rings. They attach to the front of the scooter and can be moved around to ‘decorate’.

The scooter is designed for ages five and up. It has an adjustable handle to grow with the owner. There is a wide base and a rear brake. The weight limit is 150 pounds, which tickled the 6.0′ 148 pound teen that put it together! This scooter is just so cute I cannot wait to make it the ‘feature’ unwrapped gift under the Christmas tree. My Grandaughter will love it!
