 I always have a tube of some type of lip balm on me. No matter what season, my lips are always dry. My daughter recently introduced me to Softlips with a free sample she brought home from college. I was instantly hooked after the first try, so when Softlips offered to let me try their six new flavors I jumped at the chance!

I was sent wildberry, cherry, raspberry, mint, vanilla and Strawberry. There wasn’t a single flavor in the batch I didn’t like… but my favorite is wildberry (I’m just partial to berry flavors… scent or foodwise). What I love most about Softlips is that it goes on smoothly… doesn’t feel like you put a coat of wax on your lips. It also doesn’t feel like an oil slick just happened either. It stays put for quite some time and it immediately takes care of my “chapped lip feeling”. The fact that it has SPF20 in every tube is a huge bonus as we start playing out in the sun more and more with summer coming on.

    I think my mom would really like the vanilla flavor one (as would I!), so I’d probably give it to her with vanilla scented shower gel, body lotion and body spray. I’d also bake her a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, her favorite 🙂

    I would do a berry themed gift for my mom. I’d give her the cherry, strawberry, raspberry w/ green tea, and wildberry Softlips. I’d also include some berry scented lotions, soaps, and candles in a nice gift basket. With our meal we’d have a spinach and strawberry salad and we’d do a berry cobbler for dessert.

    Well to come up with a flavored theme for Mother’s day for myself I would use either Rose scented items or Strawberry flavored items as those are my favorite. I would include yankee candles, lip glosses, Maybe some pop rocks, a body splash or something from like bath and body works etc.

    For a theme gift I would do Strawberry. Here is what I would do, cute strawberry picking basket (I have TONS, we pick every year!) Strawberry softlips, Godiva Choc. covered strawberries (they sell them at our local JCpenney and man they are good!) Strawberry lotion and soap (local store sells Betty Crocker soaps and lotions and they are yummy smelling!) some pink and green easter grass to fill the bottom in a bit. Wrap in a plastic bag, tie with a cute strawberry theme ribbon, cut out a strawberry shape card and write on it!
