What’s my story?
With four children it was hard for me to choose which story to share… but I narrowed it down.
All of my children have their own funny stories… but the ones I like to share are of my Emma gagging just by looking at certain foods. Yes, I typed that correctly. Emma will gag if you put a plate with a tortilla in front of her and tell her she has to eat it. Something about the texture of a soft tortilla induces this reaction from her. We’ve tried different types… whole wheat, corn, gluten free. All of them induce gagging from her. I’ve learned that when preparing these meals I need to just make an acceptable substitution for her to eat, but on rare occasion I ask her to try again to see if she likes it now (let’s just say on the days I feel a little spunky I do this). To date, every single sighting, touching and bite has induced gagging almost to the point of her vomiting.
