Not too long ago I was greeted by my local deliveryman with an exciting mysterious package.

I had been asked if I would participate in the #YogaMyWay promotion, but had no idea what was in store for me!

I couldn’t believe I had a beautiful new Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 in my hands!!!!

After the excitement wore down and I was getting into the groove with the Yoga Pro 3, I began to ponder who to gift my previous Yoga to. It was such a nice piece of technology I couldn’t just let it sit on my shelves and collect dust.

Then it hit me. My oldest is in her senior year at college studying graphic design. Although she had a desktop, there were many times she would complain that she couldn’t get anything done between classes.

So that was my decision. I boxed up my “baby” and sent it off to college. I received photos via text message thanking me for the Yoga.

My daughter works in a graphic design department of the college. Unfortunately there is only one desktop for the designers to use, so if hours overlap she is left on her own to find a workstation somewhere to use.

Because the Yoga is powerful enough to use Adobe CS6 and not bog down, she can set up camp on the floor (or anywhere… it’s a YOGA!) and get to work.

Working on her projects anywhere is no longer a problem. She is able to work a few minutes here and there between classes so that her work doesn’t pile up on her at home.

Even in tablet mode she is able to catch up on email, Facebook or just surf for a few minutes.

I’ve been told that she can still do a lot of design work in tablet mode, also. I am blown away but some of things she creates and now she can start on her ideas while they are fresh instead of hoping to hold onto her idea until she gets home to her desktop.

A Yoga is more than a workhorse… it’s also entertainment for her as well. Now that she can get so much done at school/work, she has a little down time to unwind with a good show.

I’m a WAHM and still breastfeeding so my daughter takes up a lot of my time and one of the problems I have sometimes is I can’t do any work when I’m with her. Because a lot of my online work involves a time tracker that isn’t available on the iPad, I feel like I’m wasting a lot of time. So, I’ve been on the lookout for a very light and portable laptop which I can take with me while my daughter sleeps on me (like I’m her human pillow). I think this is great. Thanks for the review. I might just consider buying this one! My current laptop is frickin’ slow and I want to replace it.
