Get In the Picture Capture the Moment | Sprout #MomIsHere Sweepstakes | @SproutChannel

This sponsored post was written while participating in my partnership with Sprout and One2One Network, but as always, all opinions are my own.

If you thumb through my 20 some odd years of family albums, you will probably only find a handful of photos with me in them.

It’s sad but true… and my experience is not unique. Many moms are also the family photographer. Either they forget to ask someone to snap a shot with them in it, or they just don’t feel good enough about themselves to commemorate how they looked that day.

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that it’s ridiculous for me to “wait until I lost some weight”, or for me to not hop in the photo because I don’t like my hair that day. All of the silly excuses I’ve made. I want my children to be able to look back at old photos and see the good times we had together, to rekindle those memories. Our kids don’t see “fat”, “skinny”, “messy hair”, “no makeup”… they see MOM.

Sprout understands that moments between mom and child are special. But they are also fleeting and won’t last forever. Sprout wants to urge moms to stop what they are doing right now, and capture the moment with their child while they are still in the moment.
