Braun Forehead Thermometer Review

Braun Forehead Thermometer Review

Sample product was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Cold and flu season is upon us and I think that a good trustworthy thermometer on hand is a necessity. Braun sent me their Forehead Thermometer for a review. The box says that it is easy to use and reads in seconds… that is a must on my list when looking for a thermometer. It is hard for me to get my little ones to sit still long enough to let me take their temperature for a accurate reading.

Taking it out of the packaging I was excited to see that Braun included batteries! You just don’t get that with many companies anymore. Getting it ready for use is as easy as putting in your batteries and pressing the power button.

While holding down on the temperature button slide the thermometer across your child’s forehead and back… in 3 seconds you have a reading. It IS that easy.

I will admit I have a hard time remembering the temperatures of what is a normal temperature to a high temperature. I LOVE the fever guidance feature. After taking your childs temperature the large careen will change color depending on the temperature just taken. It will be Green for temperature 96.4-99.4ºF (acceptable), Yellow for >99.4-101.3ºF  (Elevated), and Red for >101.3-108.0ºF (Possible High Fever)

A few other Features of the Braun Forehead Thermometer are:
*Auto-Display memory- When turned on it will display the last reading for 2 seconds.
*Protective Scanner Cap- Protects the thermometer scanner from getting damaged and helps keep it clean.
*Measures infrared energy radiated from the skin above the eyebrow area.
*Auto Shutoff to save batteries

I love that I now have a quick, effective and accurate way to take my child’s temperature.

You can purchase your Braun Thermometer on Amazon for $48.99

Thank you so much for doing this review ! I will receive mine from klout and I was skeptical if it will really work that easy. Now I am so excited to receive it and more excited to know that it really helps by changing color

This is a very good thermometer to use for baby! I like that all you have to do is put on the forehead to get a fast accurate reading. I think that my sister could really use this thermometer!

This is so much easier than years ago! I remember the rectal thermometers and being so scared it was hurting. This is a great product!

I was visiting a friend in the hospital and the nurse used something like this. It was so easy and non-disruptive to the patient.

These types of thermometers aren’t just good for babies. They are great for everyone including those who are confused or unable to cooperate. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s and there is no way you could get a regular thermometer in her mouth much less expect her to keep it there. I love that you get results in 3 seconds.
