Beauty and the Beast 2017 | Outdoor Viewing

Samples received. All opinions are my own.

The story and characters you know and love come to spectacular life in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic Beauty and the Beast, a cinematic event celebrating one of the most beloved tales ever told. Experience the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a Beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff, and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart of the true Prince within.

When our family was told that we were going to have the opportunity to have an outdoor viewing of the new release of Beauty and the Beast the kids couldn’t contain their excitement. The older kids even invited their significant others to join us for a movie date night!

Everyone tends to gather early for snacks and such, so we decided that instead of coming attractions we’d run some funny Vine videos.

This time around the kids asked for movie candy, so we went the Pizza Rolls route for the “main dish” and bought some fruit snacks, Twizzlers and M&Ms for the sweets. There’s no way we could get away without popcorn, so again we popped two industrial sized bowls worth!

This time we decided to skip using the sheet (1) because it was just too small and (2) because once you start focusing on the movie you don’t really notice the lines from the garage. They are mostly viewable during lighter scenes like above.

I have to comment on how impressed I am of this remake. I tend to cringe when I hear a movie is being remade, but Disney did such a fabulous job with carrying the storyline out perfectly. By the end of the movie everyone attending commented on how much they loved this version! Bravo Disney!

We’ve loved having the opportunity to have outdoor viewings of Disney movies. Everyone of every age can enjoy the storyline and I don’t have to worry about anything inappropriate happening or being said that might offend a neighbor. This particular night a neighbor arrived home towards the end of the movie and he stood in the street watching the movie!
