Back to School Capital One Twitter Party August 21 | #SchoolCents
This post is brought to you by Capital One and The Motherhood and I’ve been compensated for my time. All opinions are my own.
The season marks the unofficial “New Year” for kids and parents with new schedules and extracurricular activities. The fresh start of a new school year provides the opportunity to make some new-school-year resolutions to do things like plan ahead, stay more organized, and create better homework habits. It’s also a great time to make financial resolutions.
The Motherhood and Capital One are teaming up to host a Twitter party where we’ll dish on back-to-school money management. We’ll also be chatting with The Money Coach, personal finance expert Lynnette Khalfani-Cox about back-to-school shopping tips and how to use back-to-school shopping as a perfect opportunity to teach kids about important spending and saving habits.

Wish I could attend, but I’ll be teaching my swimming class then.
I have to do one of these parties one day. I’ve never done one since I’m not sure I’ll know exactly what to do but they sound like fun
