|As fall is approaching, we are reminded now more than ever of the importance of incorporating color and design into our wardrobes. Recognizing the need to extend such style and vibrancy into our everyday lives and not just our closets, REACH® enlisted the help of tastemakers and industry insiders to makeover a most useful, yet unassuming product – your toothbrush!
Curated by interior designers Tom Delavan and Celerie Kemble and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, the new REACH® by Design™ collection is a limited-edition series of brushes created with bright colors and exciting patterns perfect for glamming-up your bathroom!
This unique collaboration adds a splash of style to your brushing routine while also offering the uncompromising cleaning performance you’ve come to expect from REACH®. After all, why can’t your toothbrush be functional AND beautiful?
Designed like a dental instrument, the REACH® by Design™ toothbrush features a specially angled neck and multi‐level bristles, and is clinically proven to remove more plaque than the leading toothbrush* and more than 95% of plaque between teeth.
Looking for an added punch, combine these tools with the REMBRANDT® collection to take your smile to the next level– the 2 Hour Whitening Kit is clinically proven to visibly whiten teeth in just two hours and the INTENSE STAIN™ toothpaste removes and prevents stains deep within teeth.
I was sent a Rembrandt 2 hour whitening kit, 1 tube of Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste, 2 tubes of Rembrandt Canker Sore toothpaste, Rembrandt Whitening Strips and 3 Reach tooth brushes.
I have been using the Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste for several weeks now. This toothpaste works like none other I’ve tried (and I’ve tried several “whitening” toothpastes).
This particular toothpaste has:
– Powerful stain-fighting ingredients effectively remove deep stains from coffee and wine (yep, I drink 2 cups a day)
– Clinically shown to whiten teeth for a brighter smile
– Formulated with a unique blend of high-performing micro-polishing particles to cleanse, stain-fighting ingredients and fluoride to restore and strengthen enamel
– Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) FREE for gentle and effective cleansing
– Enhanced foaming ingredients create the perfect rich and creamy lather
– Improved and longer lasting mint flavor (ooooooh yeah!)
It doesn’t taste “odd” like some, the mint flavor can be a bit strong if you accidentally use too much (oops!) but my mouth feels fresh after brushing. That combined with the 2 hour whitening kit, I must say that I am impressed! I have used a few other kits and toothpastes in the past, but never noticed a difference… until now! I wish they would include a stain comparison chart in the whitening kits so you can note the difference (maybe something small in the directions to hold up to your teeth?), but I can tell a difference when looking in the mirror. I truly intended to document this journey for you and took pictures of my teeth before and after. Unfortunately the lighting was poor on the before and when zoomed in to my teeth the picture ended up blurry.
The Reach toothbrushes add a splash of fun to the mix. I didn’t have them out of the box but a few minutes before my oldest called dibs on the zebra brush. I have always liked Reach tooth brushes. Their angled necks help reach the back of your teeth and they always feel smooth and clean when I’m done.
The two hour whitening kit was something new for me. I have never used a kit with trays in it. You dip the trays in hot water and then put them on your teeth and keep them there for 30 seconds. The end result is a customized tray that is perfectly formed to your mouth. The kit comes with 8 tubes of bio-available peroxide, 4 for the top and 4 for the bottom. The sessions are 20 minutes long with a 10 minute break in between… equaling 2 hours total. I have to admit I was so happy when my last tube hit the trash can. The process is not difficult, but the peroxide kept oozing out into my mouth with each application. That, and I should have planned my 2 hours when the children were napping because it was a bit difficult to talk with the tray in my mouth. At one point I sneezed and the bottom tray flew out. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. I do wish there was an over the counter cure all, easy fix that would make my teeth perfectly white. Until then, this works fairly well and definitely brightened a shade or two (again, a color comparison chart would have been nice).
Start your holiday season with a brighter smile! I just did…
