The Shark Rocket is a new ultra light vacuum that comes in a small compact size but yet has a amazing suction like a larger vacuum.
Taking the Vacuum out of the box there is very minimal assembly. The vacuum came with some great additional accessories including;
A crevice tool, for those small hard to reach corners.
A small head upholstery brush, works great for pet owners and all that pet hair on the couches.
A Dusting Brush.
A Dust Away Head, Great for hardwood floors. Has the suction from the vacuum and a microfiber cloth to get any missed particles.
I do have to admit that I was a little skeptical of the Shark Rocket when I first got it and was looking it over. The compact size seems so small and just not much there to give the power I would want in a vacuum.
First test vacuum with the Rocket was a eye opener. I did just vacuum not very long ago and wasn’t expecting too much.
As I was vacuuming I noticed how quiet it runs. It doesn’t sound like there is much power there. It pushes and pulls easily making me feel like it probably wasn’t doing much.
When I was done vacuuming the living room and my kids room I went to empty the canister. To empty the canister you just hold it over your garbage can and press the button. The bottom opens up and all your dirt and dust falls out. It’s almost embarrassing to show you this picture, but man does this vacuum SUCK (no pun intended).
My daughter was with me when I emptied the vacuum and she asked if that was a birds nest, as there was so much that the Rocket pulled out of my carpet. I can’t believe what my old vacuum was leaving behind and my kids were laying on when playing on the floor. When my husband came home he even commented on how clean and “fluffy” our carpet looked (and he doesn’t notice things like that normally).
The power head has 2 wheels in the back that give the vacuum such a smooth feel as you are pushing and pulling, and there is a flexible neck at the base to allow easy maneuverings. The power head is not as wide as my old vacuum, it too is a smaller compact size. There is 2 bright lights on the front of the power head so can see where you’re going even if the lighting is dim (or dark).
The vacuum reaches under my tv stand further then any other vacuum I have had in the past.
If you remove the extension tube you are left with a small handheld vacuum for vacuuming your stairs, dusting your curtains, or your furniture. My daughter loves that it goes small enough for her to handle and help vacuum.
The vacuum has a “Advanced cyclonic technology that separates fine dirt from the air, preventing dirt from clogging the filters and keeping suction power strong over time. From the first use to the last room, you never lose cleaning power.”
A few other feature I love about this vacuum is how versatile it is. You can vacuum the floor, dust your curtains, and clean roof corners all with the same vacuum. The rocket will never loose power or suction, clean multi-floor surfaces, has swivel steering, has a 32′ power cord, has a 2 speed brush roll, washable filters, and is a versatile cleaning machine. You have 2 choices of storage, either a floor storage, or a wall mount storage.
I went from being skeptical of such a small compact vacuum to being amazed and in love all after the first use. The only downfall I found with the Rocket is when you are vacuuming and have to stop to move or pick up anything the vacuum wont stand up on it’s own, it falls over or you have to lean it against something. With the canister on the top it is quite top heavy.
I would definitely recommend the Shark Rocket to anyone in the market for a vacuum, especially if you are in a smaller house and need a vacuum that can be stored easily. You get a great compact powerful vacuum for a great price.

Cordless Pet Perfect™ II Hand Vac. Just bought one about 3 weeks ago.
I love how light weight it is and you can lug it up and down with no strain. I’ve been using a really heavy one to remove cobwebs off a “popcorn ceiling” and I am putting a hurting on myself having to hold the vaccuum up in the air while I do it.

Having fallen down the stairs (and thankfully not breaking anything…just lots of bruises) what I like about the Shark Rocket Vacuum is how you can remove the extension tube and have a handheld vacuum for vacuuming stairs. That is MUCH more convenient! Instead of a balancing act with the vacuum and the hose, you have the power of a Shark vacuum in a much smaller package!
The Shark seems so easy and convenient! I am so sick of lugging my gigantic vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs. It would be awesome to have something portable. I might event start vacuuming my car if I win 😛
