Make A Plate
My family has a difficult time finding craft projects we can all participate in. Usually the easy crafts are too boring for my older kids and the more difficult crafts are much too advanced for my youngest to participate in. When I saw the Make A Plate, I knew it would be something we could all do. We were sent 5 sets of plates, bowls and cups to review from Makit.
Below is the cups template. As you can see, some of us are a little more creative than others. J
Here is David working on his cup design.
Here are the bowl and plate templates. Thankfully, we were given several blank templates to use in case of mess ups. I, personally, went through 5 or 6 trying to get it perfect – or at least close to perfect!
Mikenah had a great time making her plate!
Once we finished, we simply mailed off our templates in the enclosed mailing envelopes and waited. Delivery can take 4-6 weeks, but happily our package came much quicker! Below is the finished product.
One bonus I wasn’t expecting, was that now my kids don’t fight over which plate or bowl they get! It’s the little things…
This is such a fun project that would be great for any occasion, or no occasion at all! This would make a great gift or just a fun rainy day craft. Check out these products and more at www.makit.com.
