VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another

VeggieTales movies have always been one of my favorite Children’s Shows. They are cute, colorful, musical, fun, and teach great moral lessons. This new VeggieTales, Lettuce Love One Another, is just like the rest. It’s a great movie for the whole family to watch together!

There are 3 different little shows on this DVD. Tomato Sawyer And Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue, Abe And The Amazing Promise, and King George And The Ducky.

Tomato Sawyer And Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue is a cute little story about helping others. It teaches that we can love others by honoring them when we help them out. And And The Amazing Promise shows us that we can love others by being patient. King George And The Ducky is a fun lesson in loving others by putting them first.

Along with these three adorable stories, there are 5 brand new “Bible Bits” by Larry The Cucumber. They are short stories that teach forgiveness, helping, giving, praying, and sharing. Each one is a colorful fun way to see that we can truly love other people just like God loves us.

We had a lot of fun watching this DVD together. It’s 123 minutes total. So we watched one story before nap time. Then after nap time, while Big Sis was “waking up” we watched another. Later in the evening we all sat down together to watch the last story. They are so sweet. Bob (The Tomato) and Larry (The Cucumber) always do a great job teaching Bible Lessons in kind, fun, ways with a lot of music. Big Sis loved the songs. She loves to sing and dance. Every time the VeggieTales sing, she gets up to dance along. It’s amazing the things she learns through music. When I think she’s just dancing and playing, later I hear her repeating lessons she heard in songs. These are great lessons! I love that she enjoyed watching them!
