 Simple Fit Custom Shades

You can’t get much simpler than a shade that installs in seconds. No, really! No tools necessary… no drill, brackets or screws. With a simple push of a button your shade is locked in place.

Custom doesn’t have to mean expensive anymore. The new shades are affordable but made with a superior construction. The shades adjusts with a light pull… no cords!

I have been having issues with Emma lately. She is just not sleeping. My hypothesis was that she wasn’t sleeping because her window was allowing too much light in. So, I purchased a set of “light blocking” curtains for her… in pink. I was so hopeful and waited for morning to see what would happen. What happened you ask? She woke up nice and early because her room was bright pink. They didn’t block, they filtered the light and made the room appear pink.

I did some research and found Simple Fit. They offer a line of room darkening shades that are super simple to install. Take a look at the photo above. That is it. The shade, a plastic piece to slide on to help pull the shade up and down and the instructions. No drills, no screwdrivers… nada. I also liked the fact that there are no cords for Emma to mess with.

Typically I ask my husband to do things like this. I can work a drill if I have to, but he is much better at it. Because this was supposed to be simple, I decided to see how simple it was.

I read the instructions and couldn’t believe that those quick steps would install a shade. Okay… time to prove it. I pushed in the end, took the strips off the adhesive and got the shade in position. Last step… activate the spring and pull the shade down! O.M.G.! That was it! It really was as simple as it says!

And now my Emma’s room is dark.

 My overall experience with Redi Shade and their Simple Fit shade has been fantastic. The ordering process was incredibly easy and their shipping time was much quicker than I expected. The shade quality was amazing and I loved how they contained the cording inside the unit to make it even safer for a child’s room. Installation couldn’t have been easier or quicker and the room darkening shade is doing it’s job. The room is dark!
