My Take:
  I am going to be honest here. I am not a video game person, in
the least. Don’t get me wrong… it’s not that I won’t play, I
just would prefer to watch. That being said… after downloading Mystery P.I. my
family has been heard saying “YOU are playing a game?”.  The
answer… YES! I love this game! I equate it to “I
Spy” for older kids and adults. You are on a hunt to find who stole the
gold… in each scene you have a list of clues that you need find hidden in the
scene. At the completion of each round there is a mini game that could include a
word search, puzzles, spot the difference and more. I enjoyed that this game was
not over stimulating, but yet required you to concentrate. I actually felt
relaxed while playing it… compared to when I play action games on the Wii (I
usually feel frazzled when I play those). 




I decided to try this out on my older children. My son (13) sat down in the
middle of my game and starting pointing out the hidden objects I was looking
for. Before I knew it he had the mouse in his hand and told me to “shhh!”
because I was ruining it for him :O). I later introduced the game to my daughter
(18). She had a similar response to my son. She enjoyed the game so much she
asked me to download it onto her computer!
