Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe | Nestle DelightFulls Recipe
Author: Heather
Ingredients
1 cup Crisco Sticks (unsalted butter cubed works as well)
1¼ cup sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup cocoa powder (dark or regular can be used)
2¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp. sea salt (regular salt can be used)
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. vanilla
1½ cups Nestle DelightFulls (peanut butter and carmel pair best but mint and cherry would work, too)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Use an electric mixer to cream the Crisco/butter and sugar (about 2-3 minutes). Add the eggs and vanilla in while mixing, scraping down the bowl as needed. Mix in the cocoa powder into this mixture until well blended.
Add the flour, salt and baking powder to the bowl and mix on low speed just until incorporated. Fold in the Nestle DelightFulls in gently with a spatula or use the kneading hook on your mixer.
As the dough is rather thick, you can also transfer it to a work surface and knead it by hand to be sure all of the ingredients are well mixed.
I used a standard sized cookie scoop. A single batch should make around 36 cookies.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes. As they are dark, it is hard to see them "brown". If they are standard sized they will be a little soft. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack or wax paper to cool completely.
