I never really used a baby carrier with my first two kids. With my third I have found myself enjoying having a carrier, because let’s face it… Mom’s don’t have 3 hands. I have been using a different carrier and have quite enjoyed it. When given the chance to try the Boba Organic Carrier in Pine I thought I would give it a try and keep a open mind as I was pretty attached to the carrier I already owned.

Taking the carrier out of the box I immediately noticed how soft the material is. The Boba Organic is 100% Organic cotton and is free from any potential harmful materials or dyes. This was great to know because my son he is teething and does suck and chew on the shoulder straps.  There are built in pockets on the carrier for you to place needed things like your keys, phone, or your baby needs like soothers and small toys.

5,6,7Placing your child in the carrier is so simple. First you put on the waist strap (which has a range of 25″-58″) place your baby against you and adjust your child’s legs so that they are positioned correctly. Then you bring up the carrier and put on the shoulder straps, connect the chest strap and lastly tighten any loose straps and your ready to go. Compared to the other carrier I have been using I find the Boba is much easier and faster to put on and do up.

The Boba Carrier can be used as a front carry or a back carry for older children. I use the front carry with my 4 month old and I will proudly say I LOVE how that carrier feels when I’m wearing it. The design of the Boba spreads the weight of your child so you are supporting their weight all over and not just in one spot. The carrier is made for children 7-45 lbs. It comes with an integrated infant insert for babies 7-14 lbs that just snaps in if needed. I appreciate not having to purchase more parts to make the carrier work for me.

A feature I have really liked is the hood that comes with your carrier. This hood can be brought up to help protect your baby from the weather. Whether creating shade from the sun or protection from the wind it has come in so very handy. Another use for the hood is if you breastfeed while your child is in the carrier. You can bring up the hood for extra privacy. I personally haven’t figured that skill out yet, but I have seen many people who are able to nurse while wearing their baby and make it look so easy.  The hood can be folded up and stored in a convenient zipper pocket on the front of the carrier.

If you have older children 20 lbs – 45 lbs the back carry is ideal for you. I can wear my 3 year old (35 lbs) on my back and be completely comfortable, even my husband says it’s really comfortable (I love baby wearing dads)! My favorite feature for the older kids is the foot straps. The straps keep their legs at a healthy 90º angle keeping proper leg circulation and posture.  The straps are fully adjustable to slide forward or backwards to where your child is comfortable and thighs are at least parallel to the ground.

At first I wasn’t sure if I could possibly like a baby carrier more then the one I already had, BUT once getting to try the Boba Organic Baby Carrier the Boba has taken the place of my other carrier and is my new favorite. This the most comfortable carrier I have worn yet, and my 4 month old son stays so content when in it.

When purchasing the Boba Baby Carrier you’re getting a carrier that is going to be comfortable for both you and your baby even when you are going to be wearing your baby for hours at a time.
