This 39-piece set features a unique 2-in-1 Rescue Shed: stack for a 2-level rescue shed or unstack for a track elevator and stand-alone tunnel! Includes Calley’s Rescue Computer with lights and sounds, Calley, Wilson, two rescue cars, two track hazard areas and more!

Ethan loves trains, tracks and Chuggington. I love classic feeling toys made from natural materials. When we were offered a chance to review a wooden Chuggington set I excitedly said yes!

This 39 piece set included Calley, Wilson and two rescue cars. That immediately caught my attention. There is nothing worse then buying a train or track set and not having vehicles included. Setup was super simple. The instruction sheet had a diagram with labeled pieces of the track making assembly only take about 5 minutes.

This particular set has two ramps, one on each side, and when pushing the train set around the track you complete a figure 8. The rescue computer has lights and sounds and there are two hazard areas.

This 39-piece set is jam-packed with imagination-building fun and characters from the wildly-popular Chuggington series. The 2-in-1 design lets kids determine the play: stack up the Rescue Shed for double-decker play or unstack for a stand-alone tunnel. The Chuggington Wooden Railway features kid-attractive primary colors, super-simple magnetic couplings, and chunky designs just right for those adorable little toddler hands. To make this an even better investments… the track pieces are compatible with other wooden railway systems.

I am loving the quality of this set. The wood is sturdy (imagining my 3 year old tossing them across the room), they interlock well but are easy enough to put together and separate, the 4 cars are detailed, roll well and connect with magnets, and the sounds are easy to activate. The wooden pieces are detailed with Chuggington’s logo as well as accents to make them look like real tracks. I imagine this set will last long enough to add onto through Ethan’s “train addiction” and on to the next enthusiast. Even if you little one isn’t the biggest Chugginton fan but loves trains, this set is a great purchase this holiday season.
