I had to pleasure of playing with Windows 8 a few months back at BlogHer ‘12. My first reaction was that this platform is going to be easy for almost everyone to pick up. I had one particular person in mind that has a difficult time learning new things. Having all of the app tiles (also known as charms) on the home page makes it as simple as click and go.

The fabulous thing about Windows 8 is the ability to personalize and make your pc your own. You can add, delete, move and arrange your charms in order of importance to you. If you take a few minutes to get to know Windows 8 I’m sure you’ll be just as excited as I am about it’s availability. I’m excited to receive my own Windows 8 computer! In the upcoming months I will share my personal experiences with Windows 8 while sharing highlights and tips/tricks.

Windows 8 is available for purchase in more than 140 markets and 37 languages in two primary versions—Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro. In addition to the wide range of new Windows devices, including Surface, existing Windows 7 customers can also upgrade their current devices in more than 140 markets! You can find the upgrade offer at www.windowsupgradeoffer.com.

I am a Windows Champions blogger and I received loan of a laptop and may receive other awards from Microsoft to post my opinions about Microsoft products.
