Trikke has developed a unique form of transportation this is good for the environment (no emissions) and also is a great fitness/weight loss platform. It’s unique carving propulsion, ergonomics and performance creates an “active riding” platform that it perfect for almost all ages and fitness levels.
Awarded both the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award and The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, the T5 helps kids enjoy a really fun, physical activity while building confidence in agility, balance and coordination. The three wheeled design allows kids to feel secure without the fear of falling – whether they are kicking around the neighborhood scooter-style, or propelling via the Trikke fluid carving motion. The new fairing adds a full vehicle look to this classic. Performance and fun guaranteed.
We were sent a T5 Jogo for Emma to try out. It arrived in five pieces (3 of which are attached to each other by brake cables) with a thorough set of instructions and all the tools needed to assemble. Assembly was a bit cumbersome (could have been because I was trying to assemble sitting in the driveway) but once an extra set of hands offered to steady the Jogo I was finished in a snap.
The Trikke T5 Jogo features:
- Durable molded foot platforms, molded and decorated fairing
- Soft foam, colored hand grips
- Adjustable handlebar height
- 5″ Polyurethane Wheels
- Dual hand brakes with dual rear wheel braking system
- Three points of contact for a balanced and stable riding platform
- Durable Steel frame construction
Emma just turned five this past November. She is small for five but was able to hop onto the Jogo easily. Emma has been working on her balance with a balance bike, so she was able to get the Jogo to remain steady in one place. With a little help she was able to get the scooter moving. She was uncertain enough with her carving skills that she asked that I not leave her side, which was a good thing because she forgot there were hand brakes and got a little out of control on our hill.
I’m hoping that with another bought of warm weather and another location that isn’t as “hilly” we will have a more successful outcome with Emma and the Trikke. She had fun, though, and asked if we could try again another day. The Trikke has a definite learning curve, but I can foresee a lot of excitement and enjoyment when she finally “gets it”. The Trikke T5 Jogo is suggested for children 4-7 years old, with a limit of 4’ tall and 80 pounds.
You can purchase a Trikke T5 Jogo for $99.99
