Step2 Tropical Island Resort Water Table
It’s only March and we are already lugging out the water toys from storage. Can you believe we got in the 80’s already? That’s why when Step2 offered to let Emma and Ethan review the Tropical Island Resort Water Table I said YES!
I was excited to review this particular water table… mainly because it looked large enough for multiple kids. Emma and Ethan are in a “everything needs to be equal” “I want to do whatever it is you’re doing because you’re doing it” stage. Everything I’ve been purchasing lately has to be large enough for two. This table has many activities for them to cooperate with:
The website mentions adult assembly required… make that an adult with an electric screwdriver or drill. As you can see, Ethan eagerly emptied the box out for me to photograph. I couldn’t get this assembled quick enough for his liking.
The legs slide in easily but are secured with screws. You will need a power tool for this or your hand/wrist will finally give out. With my husband’s drill and a phillips head attachment I easily secured the legs. The rest of the table went together effortlessly and we had a finished product in no time.
From the front you can see the swings (starting from the left), the “pool” (pump the blue water and it fills the pool), the palm tree (pour water over it to make the spinners go), the merry go round, a slide and a diving board. There are four little people, a boat, a dolphin and a blow fish (he squirts water).
The view from the back gives you a different angle of all of the toys. There is plenty of room for several children to play with the multiple activities.
I could bore you with tons of fun pictures from their playtime that day… but here are three that show you the pumping feature to fill the “pool”, the merry go round and Ethan pouring water over the tree. This table has been used on an almost daily basis (except on rainy days) and they’ve spiced it up a time or two with bubbles. Emma and Ethan have played with quite a few water tables in their short lives and this is the most fun I’ve seen them have in ages.
