Hasbro take Fun on the Run with Travel Games…
As warm weather starts to trickle into the extended forecast, it’s time to start planning for upcoming vacations and three-day weekends. Whether traveling by car or airplane, you’ll need to have some entertainment on-hand for yourself and your young traveling companions. While travel entertainment is of upmost importance, don’t forget to throw some classic games into the trunk or carry-on bag for entertainment when you arrive at your destination. There’s nothing like a sun-drenched day at the beach, capped off with a night of SORRY!, MONOPOLY, OPERATION and more!
Road trips and kids. Need I say more? If you’ve been on one with kids, you know what I mean. I have learned the hard way to plan in advance. I make a bag for each kid with “new (to them)” items to keep their attention while traveling. I allow them to take out one thing at a time and it tends to make the trip a little more pleasant.
The travel version of Trouble is a decent size. It’s about 6 inches square. It is recommended for ages 5+ mainly because of the smaller playing pieces. They fit in fairly snug and the famous pop-o-matic has been scaled down so you will never lose the dice. It’s takes a little force to get it to “pop”, but doable. I would recommend this more for “in the room” or for older children (because of the small pieces). My take… it’s “not the original game”… but a good second to occupy a few bored moments while on the road!
