Combi Twin Sport Double Stroller RV $259.99
Trying to go anywhere for any extended length of time with two children can be tiresome, irritating and exhausting. Even though my two are “older”, eventually they grow tired of walking and start to whine. That’s when I decided that we needed a stroller they both could jump on and off of. I love front to back strollers, but it is difficult for the child in back to get in and out, so my search for a side by side began.
Combi heard my pleas and kindly offered to send a Combi Twin Sport for us to try out.
Our stroller arrived in a pretty Bamboo Scribble pattern (green). I pulled it from the enormous box to find the stroller almost full assembled. It was incredibly easy to finish… I just popped on the front two wheels, the tummy bars and the parent cup holder and I was done!
Some of the notable features of the Combi Twin Sport are:
The adjustable canopies include storage pockets and viewing windows. I’ve had issues in the past with sun canopies not covering enough to shield the sun. These are more than adequate and even in full recline shield from the front and back.
The Combi Twin Sport features wide, reclinable seats with breathable air-mesh fabric, footrests, 5-point harnesses with adjustable (and removable) shoulder straps, removable tummy bar (guardrail) with 3 cup/snack holders and infant safety boots for newborns. This make for a safe and comfortable environment for your children. Because Combi knows that our children can be a bit messy, their seat cushions are removable and washable.
Above is the stroller folded into a flat position. It folds super thin and can be stored in this position, or you can continue to fold into the configuration below.
With the quick 3-Second Fold®, it folds easily and compactly and is self-standing. The carrying strap makes it easy to toss over your shoulder so you can still have free hands to hold hands with your children.
Overall I give two thumbs up to the Combi Twin Sport. It is super lightweight at 22.25 pounds, it has a decent weight limit for each seat of 45 pounds and is super compact with open dimensions of 33.25 in (l) x 29.75 in (w) x 39.25 in (h) and closed dimensions of 24.5 in (l) x 16.25 in (w) x 40.5 in (h).
Even with two older children on board I can still maneuver the stroller well and they are both comfortable. For ease of getting on and off I can easily detach the tummy bar and toss it under the stroller (it’s in two pieces) for use later with cups and snacks.
The versatility of the stroller between younger and older children is fantastic. Emma and Ethan prefer to not have shoulder straps. This is easily detached and tucked under for lap belt use only. The only thing I did notice that might be a disadvantage on this stroller is the amount of recline available for younger children that like to sleep fully reclined. The second photo shows the stroller in the furthest recline available. This is more than enough for my two as they tend to not doze off anymore.
