Carmex Healing Lotion & Cream
When I think lip care… I immediately think Carmex. Nothing works like a tube of Carmex for dry parched lips. Did you know Carmex lip balms have been around for nearly 75 years now?!
Finally, Carmex has created a skin care line that works as well on your dry skin as their lip balm does on your lips. This new line helps heal, soothe and moisturize dry skin without the greasy feel many brands leave behind.
My package of Carmex Healing Lotion & Cream at just the right time. The seasons are in full swing of change and my skin (and lips for that matter) is protesting. I am constantly scratching and wiggling trying to relieve that itch that comes every fall/winter with dry skin.
I have been using the Healing Lotion on my body and Healing Cream on my feet (oh my heavens are my feet dry, cracked and peeling!). I love how the lotion has a non-greasy feel and absorbs fairly quickly. I hate rubbing lotion in only to feel “wet” for several minutes while it absorbs or gets rubbed off. The scent is very faint but is pleasant. The Healing Cream is thicker and totes that it delivers a concentrated healing and moisturization of your driest, roughest skin. It also absorbs fairly quick and gives my feet relief. My feet crack and peel and it can be painful. The instant moisture gives me a little relief from the discomfort (and my feet look prettier, too!). I’ve noticed that a little bit of both of these goes a long way… I’m enjoying Carmex’s newest venture! Kudos!
You can purchase Carmex Healing line at Walgreens, CVS and Wal-Mart. Large tubes run approximately $5.99 and the smaller $.99
