|Who is Boon?
It’s funny how such a simple thing can lead to so much. It all began with a messy toddler bathtub. Designer Rebecca Finell’s wheels started turning and the Frog Pod was born. But the problem solving didn’t stop there. She had lots of ideas for other parenting innovations so she sought out a partner, Ryan Fernandez—who could create a successful business—and together they founded Boon Inc. Today Boon offers a wide range of products that help parents all over the world.
We’re committed to creating nothing but the most innovative gear—and keeping it affordable. Our design studio is always in motion, tackling one parenting challenge after another. And don’t forget our commitment to quality and safety. Call us if you have any questions. We want you to be thrilled with our products! Plus, we like hearing from you.
Boon sent us a set of Bath Goods for Emma and Ethan to review. My two absolutely love any time they can spend in water… so this was a treat for them.
The set came with an assortment of foam shapes, 3 balls and 2 puffs. There is nothing fancy about this, which is why we love them. We have been trying to get back to basics with toys… avoiding overly loud toys or ones that take all the imagination out of play. The shapes are such that they could represent several things, like when you play the “what does it look like?” cloud game. The puffs are a nice sensory item, but you can also use them for body soap (double duty, I like that) and the balls are a solid piece (no hole so they don’t fill with water) with some give to them. At first I thought they were rubber, but I’m pretty sure they are plastic, but not the overly hard plastic that will hurt when one child bonks the other with it.
I had so many more cute pictures, but alas, I couldn’t crop them enough for public viewing. You get the drift though… the foam pieces stick to the walls when wet and the kids had fun lining them up and combining them to make pictures. We store them in a bathtub toy bag and they dry well between uses with no special care involved.
My final say… I love the simplicity of them, they are nicely made and well thought through. There is enough in the container for both my children to share and still have enough to play with. I think this is a great buy! Boon has done it again…
