Weekly Weight In Week 6 & 2 : 12/17 #NSNation

New NS Logoweeklyweighin

It’s amazing how quickly time flies. I have been on Nutrisystem for 6 weeks now, Kaytlin for 2. I feel like I am in a routine now and I can tell by how I feel that it is time for my morning snack.

I have to admit that I am a little worried about next week. We will be hosting Christmas Eve at our house, so a little control of the menu helps. Kaytlin and I have already discussed it and we plan to eat dinner with the family… just not as much as we would have in the past. We have skipped all of the holiday baking that we usually do and I will probably bake a batch or two of cookies the day before my mom visits so I can give her our traditional container of cookies.

I feel I’ve done well avoiding temptation. I have to admit that my tastes are changing a little and both Kaytlin and myself have been craving/missing Mexican food like crazy. Oh to have a Chipotle bowl *insert salivating dog here*. We have our fill of Italian food galore on this plan but the main Mexican dish is a beans and rice soup. I am not much of a soup person. Give me a fork, please…

So how did I do… right?

I must preface that I am a bit bloated this week. If you are a woman, you will understand why.

so…

I lost .2 lbs this week… I’ll take it!

That puts me at 14.7 lbs in 6 weeks.

Can I round that up now? I can’t wait to say I’ve lost 15 lbs!

Week & -/+

week 4: + 1

How did Kaytlin do after her FABULOUS first week lose of 8.8 lbs?

She lost 2.8 lbs this week!

That makes a total of 11.6 lbs in TWO weeks! It took me over 3 weeks to hit those numbers! Between work and college, she is doing well with the stressors and avoiding temptation. She has mentioned a few times that she is so busy at work right now that by the time she gets home there is a ton of food left on the plan for the day for her to eat. She is having a hard time fitting it all in! Today is her last day at school/work and she will be home for 3 weeks. I’m hoping that she will begin to “fit” more food into her agenda.
