Walkaroo Stilts

In and out of the box
Stilts have been around for ages, but up until now they have been uncomfortable and difficult to play with/try. Walkaroo has redesigned  the shape of the stilts to make it more fun, and comfortable.

When I got the Walkaroo stilts my 7 year old so was so excited he almost couldn’t contain himself while I assembled them. These stilts are made for ages 6 and up, with a generous maximum rider weight of 210 lbs.

On the stilts
I was a little confused with the top of the stilts where it shows on the box of the top bend resting under the arms. As you can see in the picture they don’t come close to Karson’s arm pits when he stands on them, but I was pleased to see that it doesn’t affect the use at all.

Adjusting the height
The stilts can be adjusted to accommodate anyone from 4’6″ all the way up to 6’6″.

Grip
The hand grips are covered with a comfortable foam and the foot platforms have great grip for maximum foot grip. The bottom of the stilts have a great non-marking rubber on the bottom to allow you to use these both indoor or outdoors.

Learning his coordination
These Walkaroo stilts were Karson’s first time ever on stilts. It was so fun watching him learn and figure out his coordination. First off there was a lot of stepping up and falling off. He finally figured out to keep his body straight upright and he was able to stand up on them… success at last! Then after much determination he took some steps and his eyes just lit up. He never gave up, he fell and he got back up, and the joy out of his achievement was priceless.

Success at last
Having a toy that is not only fun but also serves to improving their balance and coordination is great. Made from steel, these stilts are made to take a beating and not be hurt.

These are really cool stilts, and I had a pair when I was a kid, but not as nice as these. Walking on stilts is so much fun, and I know my nephew would love to have a pair of these!!

The stilts look like a blast! It reminds me of when I was a kid, how I loved to pogo!! My friends would be playing with barbies and I’d be a few feet away, pogo’ing away! I would think the stilts are good exercise to develop balance.

How fun! When I was a kid (in the Dark Ages), we had a pair of stilts that were just long pieces of wood with foot rests on them, but we loved playing with them. These look much easier, and probably safer, too.
