MY TAKE:

It’s that time of year again… I do this every year. I spend the week of Thanksgiving (in my “free” time… what’s that?) signing Christmas cards, stuffing envelopes, addressing envelopes, putting return address stickers on, licking envelopes and stamping them all. PHEW! That is a lot of work… every. single. year. I try to get a jump on them because if you send them out too late, they just don’t make it in time. I also like to be one of the first cards to arrive to help put the recipient in the holiday mood (*grin*).

When Storkie.com asked if I would like to review Christmas cards I didn’t have to think about it very long. I know they have quality cards (remember the baby announcements I reviewed earlier?)  and I wouldn’t have to search the shelves with two kids in tow, yeah!

So I spent some time sifting through their Christmas cards. I was a little disappointed in myself. I wish I had taken the time to get a decent family photo to make a photo card. But, I didn’t. So, I won’t.

Then I spotted this one…

Here is the product description:

“Chorus Line” is a beautiful Holiday Card that is heavily embossed on white linen paper. The design features six beautiful birds sitting on a snowy branch amidst a snowy landscape. The card is accented by 3-Dimensional, textured images throughout.

I am a classic kind of girl when it comes to Christmas cards and this one foot the bill. I loved that it had six little birds (and aren’t they adorable?) … one for each of our family members. I love the textured images and the one little spot of red on the snowman’s scarf. Simple, classic, and a beautiful winter scene. The envelopes are lined with silver foil adding a touch of class.

After choosing this design the customization page (iDesign) was fairly simple and intuitive to use. You choose the wording, the font style and coloring and positioning of the words making this even more personal… your own creation. I chose to have Storkie add my return address on the envelope, which will save me a little time and it matches the signature in the card.

So, they arrived and I eagerly opened the package. I was not disappointed in the least. The embossing and 3-D imaging give the card the extra touch of class that I love. The envelopes are beautiful and the silver foil reminds me of winter snow. Even my oldest daughter said “oh, WOW” when I showed them to her.

I am very impressed with quality of the card stock, printing and the design of these cards. The envelopes are a nice heavy quality with foil lining and well worth the money. I am so glad that I had them print the return address on them for me, as well as sign the family’s names. What a time saver! and the font is much nicer (and easier to read) than my own handwriting.

The “Chorus Line” cards featured above can be purchased for $1.79 per card sold in sets of 20 ($35.80 total).

You still have time… check out Storkie for your cards this holiday season… they carry holiday cards, unique Christmas cards and Hanukkah cards, too!
