With Father’s Day just around the corner, we wanted to feature a product that every dad could use and appreciate. The Philips Norelco Shaver 9700 Series 9000 is a wet/dry electric shaver with all the bells and whistles that I know my hubby would appreciate.

My husband shaves on the go, so I was happy to see a travel pouch included with this shaver. I’m of the mindset that if you treat your possessions kindly they will last longer and treat you better (aka work appropriately longer).
One of the key features on this shaver that excited me was the contour detect. With his old shaver my husband would have to go over his chin and neck area multiple times to get a close shave. Even then there were usually a few spots that just didn’t get cut. With the series 9000 it’s no longer a struggle.
Charging can be done directly at the base of the shaver (great for when you are traveling with it) or through the cleaning stand. With a charge lasting up to 50 minutes my husband can keep it in the car for the work week if he wants to.
Once this shaver was in his hand it was hard to pry it out. Shaving with his old shaver is now out of the question because it is now accompanied with strings of frustration words. He never knew he need this beauty, but now he won’t part with it.
