About PenPalGirls Inc.
The concept for PenPalGirls, Inc. came in 2010, from a mother of two who realized her daughters were not fully aware of their cultural heritage and could not appreciate their uniqueness.  Her vision was to develop a company and product line for young girls everywhere to learn about their own culture as well as different ways of life found around the world.  PenPalGirls is devoted to providing a line of collector-quality toys that includes sophisticated couture 18 inch dolls, clothing and accessories.  Our products are designed to fit PenPalGirls dolls, but also work with the following popular brands’ 18 inch dolls:  American Girl, Favorite Friends, Our Generation, Journey Girls, Carpatina dolls and most other 18 inch dolls.  For more information, please visit www.PenPalGirls.com.

My older daughter, Michaela, wanted to review the PenPalGirls doll, Emma.  I was a little surprised she wanted to review a doll, because she’s right at that in-between age where she’s getting too old for dolls, but is still too young for teen things.  But when we looked into the PenPalGirl dolls, I liked the idea of her having a pen pal.  Michaela loves writing letters and I thought this would be a great opportunity to explore other cultures.

When we got Emma in the mail, Michaela wanted to open her right away.  I had to hold her off long enough to get a couple pictures, but then she tore open the box and was so excited to see her doll.  She loves her Emma doll, and has been exploring the website ever since.

I think PenPalGirls is a great concept and I really like the idea that Michaela can find a pen pal to follow and read her blog.  She can ask pals about their culture and heritage and get personalized responses.  There are also games Michaela can play on the website and she can search other countries to learn more about them.

Check out the adorable clothing, shoes, and accessories that are available.  So cute!

  1. Really good idea. It is both pleasure and practice!

I really like this concept. It is a good thing to get our younger generation to learn to write well enough for others to read and enjoy. The doll is so cute too.

  3. Chris says

It says it’s original price is $95 and it got reduced to $15. But after I received the doll, I found out that the doll should be around $15 each because of the cheap plastic it is made up of. It is very light in weight and the only good thing maybe the wig. They advertises it as being AG quality and it clearly is a fraud.
