Little Tikes Cook n’ Grow Kitchen

Little Tikes sent us this amazing little kitchen to review. I can honestly say I wish I had gotten one for my first child when he was small. It’s called the Little Tikes Cook ‘n Grow Kitchen, and that is exactly what it does… grows with your child. The kitchen does take some assembly but it doesn’t take very long at all to assemble the kitchen. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble it and maybe another 10 minutes to place all the stickers on it.

The kitchen is developed to grow with your child from toddler to preschooler, 1 1/2 years and up. This is a great kitchen that has many functioning parts. The fridge, stove and microwave doors all open and close. The dials on the stove top and oven all make a clicking noise when turned, and when you place the pan or pot on the stove element it makes electronic cooking sounds.

I do like that this kitchen does come with some food, not many kitchens come with food and you end up having to make another purchase. There are 26 accessories that are included: knives, forks, spoons, cups, mugs, hot dog, hamburger, pan, pot with a shape sorting lid and shapes, spatula, phone, and coffee pot.

Stage 1 is assembling the kitchen so the stove and fridge are spaced apart and you slide the grey counter in-between. You now have it at a height that your young children can play at. It is very low and sturdy so that your children that aren’t quiet walking yet can easily pull themselves up to it and be encouraged to play and develop their motor skills.

Stage 2 is assembled by removing the counter out of the middle and sliding the fridge and stove together. There is a white connecter that comes with the set that sides in the groves and holds them together. Then you slide the counter on top and you now have a taller compact kitchen for your older budding chefs. This is such a great kitchen for small spaces, you get everything a larger kitchen has but in a compact size.

This is a very sturdy kitchen that is built well and made to look realistic for hours of play time creating their masterpiece in the kitchen just like mom and dad.

  15. That’s so cute! We have a Little Tikes kitchen that we got my son for Christmas last year & he plays with it almost every day. I wish he had this one though- ours takes up way more room. We went a little overboard.

  16. Midge had one of these when she was little – she played for H-O-U-R-S. I totally recommend these little kitchens – best money we – errr, I mean Santa – spent.

Would you consider selling the coffee pot? I’m trying to find one for this kitchen!
