Kinect Rush A Disney Pixar Adventure

We are a two gaming system family with a Nintendo Wii and an Xbox 360. Emma has been learning and loves to play video games, but has been sticking to the Wii mainly because most of the games we have tried for the Xbox frustrated her. They either required complicated moves or just wouldn’t respond to her little 45 lb frame right. That is until Kinect Rush…

“Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure” invites families and fans of all ages to experience the worlds of five beloved Disney•Pixar films like never before. Team up with characters from “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “Up,” “Cars” and “Toy Story” to solve puzzles and uncover hidden secrets.
For the first time in Kinect history, you and your favorite Pixar character can interact on screen and play cooperatively to solve challenges. Use your voice and body to seamlessly move from fast-paced puzzle-solving to moments of pulse-pounding agility and speed.
·        Get in the game. Scan yourself into the game using Kinect technology to create a personalized avatar with your unique features, and become a character in five different Pixar movie worlds!
·     Cooperative play. You’ll never feel alone while playing “Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure” — play with a friend or look to your Pixar friends to help you in each adventure.
·     Explore and discover. Work with a friend to overcome puzzling obstacles or team up with a Pixar character to find hidden secrets.

Our family is all about Disney, and lately Disney has been putting out some fantastic games and toys for kids. The new video games for Kinect get our kids off their tushies and get them moving while playing and enjoying a Disney story themed video game.

Emma’s favorite characters to play at the moment are the Incredibles. The running, jumping and throwing actions are easy for her (she’s 5 1/2) and she is gaining confidence the more she plays it. She has yet to branch out into the puzzle games, but the agility games keep her attention and keep her moving. When she runs into new activities it usually only takes one time showing her and she’s off playing on her own again.

I highly recommend this game as a fun summer game to keep your kiddos active while they are inside on the upcoming super hot summer days.
