I have been encouraging my kids lately to drink more water (instead of pop). My two youngest don’t drink much pop, but my oldest two do. Now that they are heading off to college, I have been stressing it even more.

When my daughter moved to college a couple of years ago we purchased a Brita Space Saver Pitcher for her. Before she had that she would NOT drink the water because of the taste and smell.

Some of the things she loved (and still loves) about her Brita Space Saver Pitcher are:

• There is a filter indicator that counts the number of pours so she has a nice reminder of how much she has had to drink.

• The locking lid is perfect for spill free pouring.

• It holds a nice 6 (8 oz. glasses) of water before needing refilling.

• The pitcher fits perfectly in a full-size fridge (for apartment living) or mini-fridge (for dorm life).

• No more bad tasting water. It filters out chlorine taste and odor, zinc, and harmful contaminants like copper, mercury and cadmium.   undefined

I am neck deep in the huge back to college shopping spree as I type. A Brita is on my son’s list as well because it is the perfect college essential, right along with his books and bedding.

Brita is Available at Target where you can shop and save with these current deals:

  • If you sign up for the Brita filters on Target subscribe and save, you save 5% and the filters can be sent directly to your student at school
