My husband is the type of man that doesn’t let age slow him down. It seems the more birthdays he has, the more he pushes back and strives to do more. A few years back he decided to take up running again. Although he has serious knee pain issues in the past, it was something that sparked a fire in him and he wanted to try again to perfect it.

Starting with only a few miles at a time under his belt his fire, determination and drive pushed him further and further. He took running classes to correct his stride/step and pushed on and up to trail running and a half marathon. Just a few years later he’s completed a 10k, a half marathon, a 20 mile trail run, a couple of marathons and he is now training for a 50k trail race later this year. That is a tad over 30 miles (my feet and knees ache just thinking about it)!!!!

I am incredibly proud of this man and with Fathers Day just around the corner I have been window shopping at Best Buy for items that would help or enhance his running dreams.

The GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition Action Camcorder is a product he’s mentioned a few times in the past as one he might enjoy wearing when running a race. He’s tried to video a little with his cell phone but it’s clumsy and awkward, so it just went back into his belt. I would love to surprise him with one for Fathers Day.
