Chipotle and Soccer The Perfect Combination

Thank you to Chipotle for sponsoring today’s conversation. All opinions remain my own.

Our family enjoys a good soccer game, so when we were invited to the Sporting KC vs. St. Louis FC game we eagerly accepted.

What better way to fuel up for a night of rowdy cheering than a Chipotle bowl or burrito! We weren’t the only ones with the idea either, as the group in front and behind us all had on Sporting KC shirts and were chatting excitedly about the nights game.

We love Chipotle because not only is it delicious, it is put together with high-quality raw ingredients that – where possible – are sustainably grown and raised responsibly with respect for the animals. This make both the vegetarians and the meat eaters in our family happy.

I also love that even if I eat the entire Chipotle bowl, I never “crash” and get the sleepies. We all had happy bellies and excitedly headed off to the game.

We arrived at Sporting Park early enough to watch the players warm up. The view was spectacular (click on the photo for full view) and as the stadium filled you could feel the excitement build. Our seats were near the Cauldron where the hard core rowdy fans hang out, chant, sing and shout during the entire game. This added to our experience.

We were pretty evenly matched with St. Louis which made for some close calls on both ends. Fortunately for us we scored a goal making the end score Sporting 1 St. Louis FC 0.

Since I live in Denver I won’t be using the plane tickets, but all the rest will be so much fun. Thanks for the links.

  3. I have been a big Chipotle fan for years and that only grew once they recently went totally non GMO! This contest sounds like a great soccer experience.
