Welcome to the “Look Who’s 3!” Birthday Bash
Last fall I did a review for Funrise Toys… their Tonka Strong Arm Truck. I was surprised and excited to see that Funrise toys was actually the maker of so many of the toys my kids love! They make and sell toys for brands such as Tonka, Gazillion Bubbles, Sassy Stables, and more!
To help celebrate Ethan’s 3rd birthday, Funrise Toys sent us some fun in the form of Gazillion Bubbles!
Can you catch the Gazillion Bump-N-Go Bubble Bug? This cute motorized bubble bug will entertain children as it races along releasing hundreds of colorful bubbles! If this little bug bumps into something, it quickly turns and races in a different direction. Just fill with solution, push the button and watch as the wings pop open and it’s off to the races! Includes 4 oz. bottle of the One and Only Gazillion Bubble solution. 3 “AA” batteries required, not included.
As you can see from the photo above, the Bump-n-Go Bubble Bug is adorable. This cute motorized gadget lives up to his name… he bumps and goes. You start by putting in 3 AA batteries, then you fill the bubble receptacle and turn it on. I was a bit impatient and thought he wasn’t working correctly because the bubbles took a while to start. Be forewarned… if you pick the Bubble Bug up and tip it… he will “wet” your clothes. Our Bubble Bug had an “accident” all over my pants (and Emma and Ethan were thoroughly amused by this).
We turned the Bubble Bug on in our driveway, which probably wasn’t the best idea (you will see it in the video). Our driveway is set on a slope and the bug kept wanting to go down the hill and kept getting stuck in the cracks. When we moved him down at the end of the driveway he was more fun and the kids chased him while he left his trail of bubbles behind him. I would say if you have a more flat surface than we did, the Bubble Bug should bring you tons of enjoyment.
The new Gazillion Bubble Cyclone puts the power of a bubble storm in your hands! Just screw the mini-machine onto the Gazillion Bubbles solution bottle, push the button and enjoy a whirlwind of mini-bubbles! Hold your bubble torch up high, or set it down for a perfect bubble scene. Great for birthday parties, or an outside picnic! Available with 8 oz. or 32 oz. bottle of The One and Only Gazillion Bubble solution. Includes bottle base. Requires 3 “AAA” not included.
The Cyclone lived up to it’s name… on both the sloping driveway and on smooth surfaces. It’s super simple to use, too. After placing batteries in the compartment, you take the cap off your bottle of bubbles and screw it into the underside of the Cyclone. There is a purple base to put your container of bubbles into (it’s a little wider and makes it a bit more stable) and then place it on a flat surface (so it won’t tip). Now it’s time to switch the unit on and wait a few seconds for the pump to siphon the bubbles to the top.
As you can see from the pictures and the video (please excuse the whiny girl… we skipped our naps that day), the Cyclone can produce a large amount of bubbles. It doesn’t seem like much on a windy day, as it is blown away as fast as it’s pumped out… but we tried it again on a more calm day and the kids had a blast. I was impressed at how little bubble solution disappeared during use. We have played with this toy several times now for lengthy periods and the bottle is only half empty!
I would have to say the Cyclone was both Emma and Ethan’s favorite of the two bubble blowers.
