My kids have been wearing Crocs (clog style) for years because they are a super easy shoe to put on/take off and they come in fun colors. This year Emma and Ethan were surprised to find that not only does Crocs make their original clog style shoe, but they have tennis shoes and loafers!

Ethan received a pair of Retro Clogs and a pair of Santa Cruz Canvas Loafers.

Ethan was instantly drawn to the Retro Clog mainly because of familiarity.

A little funky, a lot of fun. It’s the iconic Crocs™ Clog re-imagined as a 70s-inspired track shoe. With its lower profile and track-inspired design, Crocs Retro rekindles the spirit and fun of the original clog. Crocs Retro has a herringbone rubber outsole for better traction and sidewall stripes to make you smile. The best part? It has the Crocs feeling inside!

Crocs Retro Clog Details:

  • Classic Crocs style re-imagined as a 70s-inspired running shoe
  • Croslite™ material for lightweight cushioning
  • Sleeker, lower-profile design
  • Rubber herringbone outsole for improved traction and durability

The new improved traction was pure genius. As a Mom to a klutzy boy I need a shoe that grips to avoid slips and falls. The new track inspired design makes they a little more “shoe-like” as opposed to a clog. Ethan has worn these every day since they arrived because they are comfortable and look nice with many outfits.

The Santa Cruz Canvas Loafer is a fantastic slip on shoe that has the comfort of crocs material on the sole combined with the comfort of canvas.

Santa Cruz Canvas Loafer (Juniors)

Item #15576

Think of these as dress up shoes they’ll actually want to wear. Relaxed and easygoing, these give him all the comfort and cushion from Crocs in a neater package.

Santa Cruz Canvas Loafer GS details:

  • Relaxed canvas uppers
  • Stretch gore panels for easy on, easy off with a secure fit
  • Croslite™ material footbed insert makes them incredibly comfortable
  • Ready for school!

The loafer is a fun pair of shoes that dress up the outfit a tad while offering the comfort of a slip on shoe. I can see these becoming an every day shoe this fall when Ethan starts wearing jeans.

Emma received a pair of Genna II Hearts Flats and a pair of girls’ Deco Glitz Sneakers.

Crocs has taken the comfort and style of their classic clog and evolved it into a slip on ballet style flat for girls.

If your girl is about glitter and hearts and all that’s sweet, she’ll have a lot of fun with this flat. Light and comfortable, with plenty of charm.

Girls’ Genna II Hearts Flat details:

  • Glitter finish and heart pattern on the band
  • Slingback style gives her a more secure fit
  • Massage-pod footbed
  • Ventilation holes also give her room for Jibbitz™ charms
  • Fully-molded Croslite™ material for lightweight cushioning and comfort
  • Non-marking outsole

Emma loves the Genna II Hearts Flat for many reasons. They go well with shorts, dresses and jeans… they are easy to put on/take off… they are dressier than classic clogs with a little added glitter… they are just as comfortable as a classic clog. My only wish for these is that they would come in half sizes. Emma is in a 1 1/2. The 1 is too small and the 2 slips off her heels while walking. That being said, she still loves them and can keep them on as well as a pair of flip flops.

Who knew Crocs could be sneakers, huh?

If she’s looking for more fun in a pair of sneakers, start here. These are bold and colorful, with all the Crocs comfort kids love. They’re incredibly light and feel great all day. Take them to class and stand out from the crowd.

Girls’ Deco Glitz Sneaker details:

  • Relaxed canvas uppers with bold patterns and glitter
  • Easy-on, no-tie stretch laces
  • Croslite™ material footbed for all-day cushion
  • Ready for school!

Crocs hit the jackpot for little girls with the Deco Glitz Sneaker. They are flashy, sparkly, glittery and are easy to put on/take off (slip on). Emma can comfortably wear these with or without socks making them great for shorts, sundresses or even jeans. We’ve also picked up the navy pair that resemble glittery denim. Emma gets comments every time she wears these and the smile on her face shows everyone just how much she loves them.

Crocs has really stepped up and is making very stylish children’s shoes. I like all the styles that are shown, and think that the colors are so vibrant. These can be worn with pants and skirts!

  3. Sarah L says

I love my Crocs (old style). The new styles are super cute for kids.

  4. Jean says

I’ve never been a fan of the Crocs signature product – the clogs. I’m sorry, but they’re ugly. Then I discovered they make a whole range of other cute and comfy shoes. I bought my six year old her first pair of Crocs this summer – a slingback closed toe sandal. Really cute and summer camp approved.

I love crocs for the same reason easy and comfortable I wish I had some in every style for my boys if I could.
