cupcakes… but to be honest I’ve always been too lazy to measure out batter,
too ;O). I was very happy to have them come out almost perfect! You can see the cupcakes in the “regular” papers filled just to the rim after baking.
The papers are a nice decorative touch. We did have a small problem when pulling the papers off… it seems that a few of them had batter seep into the cracks and when we went to pull the paper off it ripped the cupcake apart. It only happened on a few, though. I would use the papers again, but I wish the package contained 24 (guess I’ll have to buy 2 packages, right? :O).
The items included in the cupcake decorating set were perfect. I wish I had thought ahead and planned on using the bismark tip… who wouldn’t want a filled cupcake? With 8 bags included you have plenty to get you through several decorating sessions. I absolutely love using tip 1M to make big rosettes. It cuts down on the decorating process dramatically. I can get all the cupcakes done and ready to eat in just a few minutes and they are so pretty! I’ve added sprinkles, dots, and even edible glitter to give purple rosettes shimmer.
The 3-in-1 cake caddy is a nice size and a good quality construction. It fits a 9 x 13 decorated cake, 12 cupcakes or 24 mini cupcakes. I noticed that my cupcakes wiggled around in there a bit and I wondered if I had been driving in a car and hit a bump… I think they might have tipped over. An easy solution, I checked and my cupcake tin fit nicely in the caddy as well… problem solved. I think my only wish is that it would carry more cupcakes… 24 would be nice, 36 would be heaven.
My final opinion… I would recommend everything I reviewed today!
