This post brought to you by Adventure to Fitness

logo and tagline

With more than 75,000 classrooms using Adventure to Fitness, I’m sure that many of your children will know what I’m about to talk about. If not, you are in for a treat! Adventure to Fitness is a 30-minute interactive adventure that takes children on an exciting global journey. During each episode their little arms and feet will climb, jump, run in place, lunge, and more to exercise and respond to the scene throughout the episode… all while learning interesting academic facts.

DVDs and Stream

Adventure to Fitness began as a DVD series and has recently branched out to streaming. This is fabulous news to parents like me… I have been working on weeding out physical DVDs and going completely digital. No more hunting for the one particular disc the kids want to watch. Just turn it on!

Each streaming interactive episode is an exciting journey around the globe that integrates physical activity with health instruction and curricula-aligned lessons in math, science, social studies, and language arts. Their online site provides parents with educational resources and activities, along with expert recommendations to enhance each child’s overall learning and health. Created by leading educators and doctors, it is the first program of its kind that gets kids moving, learning, and having fun!

Some of the notable aspects of Adventure to Fitness:

  1. It’s educational : Kids explore their world and gain skills in math, science, social studies,
    language arts, health, and nutrition.
  2. It’s Award Winning : Recently awarded the Family Choice Award and the Parents’ Choice Award.
  3. 30 minute fitness : Every episode provides 30-minutes of moderate-to-vigorous exercise. Required for
    healthy growing bodies and minds!
  4. Benefits : Program participants report improved physical strength & endurance, better academic
    performance, focus, and overall behavior.
  5. Easy : Just sign up and press play (DVDs also available).
  6. Affordable : Get kids fit for less than 35 cents per day!
  7. It’s FUN! : The program creates a game-like atmosphere that inspires kids to engage.

With fun characters and interesting storylines that draws the kids in I totally understand why Adventure to Fitness is the #1 educational supplement of any kind in America. I’ll admit that even I have joined in a time or two with the kids making it a family affair (and even more fun for the kids)! Isn’t that what we want to teach our children? That fitness can be fun? That helps make it a lifetime activity. No wonder it is a winner of the Family Choice Award and is Parents’ Choice Approved.
