With the first day of Autumn upon us, my taste buds have been having daydreams about pumpkin spice mochas. After some digging online I found a recipe I had to try.
I followed this recipe and added the spices directly to my coffee as instructed, but I could still taste the powder a bit. I am posting the recipe as written, and then I will tell you what I did this morning that was YUMMY.

What I did… I mixed the unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves and ground nutmeg and put them in a sealed container. I took 1 tsp. of this mixture and added it directly to the coffee grounds and brewed the pot (I only did a 10 cup pot. If I do a full 12 cup I will probably do 1 1 /2 tsp.)

I also found this recipe that I want to try, but haven’t had the chance yet. It sounds just as yummy

Your Pumpkin Pie Mocha recipe looks better than anything they have at Starbucks or Peets. Thank you for posting this! (Plus, it looks very easy, even for a non cook * grin *).
This recipe sounds delicious and I think I may just have to try this today :] I love Autumn and one of the main reasons is because all the “pumpkin” recipes come out and I LOVE to try anything with pumpkin…Thanks for sharing this recipe :]
Awesome, thanks for posting this! I can’t wait to try it!

I LOVE pumpkin pie. I dream about it during the year, because we ONLY ever have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I may have to try your creamer recipe, but with 2% milk for a lighter version. Probably won’t taste quite as nice, but sounds heavenly!
One of my favorite things about this time of year is all the yummy pumpkin recipes. I can’t wait to try this, thank you for posting!
This sounds yummy! I know it’s nowhere near fall right now but I can still dream.
This is just awesome don’t know how I missed this one. Can’t wait to try it when the girls come over for coffee. Thanks for sharing.
I am a coffee fanatic and love trying different flavors. I typically just buy them pre-made at the store without even thinking that I could make my own!! What a great idea!
