Weekly Weigh In : Weeks 36 & 32 on Nutrisystem #NSNation

weeklyweighinIt’s been 36 weeks on Nutrisystem for myself and 32 weeks for Kaytlin.

Vacation…

Last week our family went on a short vacation (tagged along to a conference Dad had to go to) and we left before our Nutrisystem food could arrive.

I had planned to bring most of my food with me and supplement on the road. What can you do, though. Unfortunately we cannot control the mail.

So we left, both of us without a crumb of Nutrisytem food in tow. I was nervous, but had decided I was going to try to make good choices and still “move my body” on my scheduled “run days”. The resort we stayed at had a fitness room (if you want to call it that… one treadmill, a broken exercise bike, a broken stair stepper and some weights) that I had planned to use because the temperatures were exceeding 100 degrees clear up to around 7pm… it was ridiculous!

I splurged occasionally but in small amounts, tried to order smart and decided that the scale is going to say what it will… I enjoyed our vacation.

Chilis, Panera, Pizza Hut, McDonalds… we ate it all.

So, let’s get to the business at hand… I know you are curious how we did…

This week I lost 1.8 lbs!!!!

Can you believe it?!?

Apparently I have learned in the past 9 months! AND I have broken my weight gain climb. I’m not sure if it had anything to do with not running (I speed walked for 2.5 miles instead). I just don’t feel stable running on a treadmill so it was walk or nothing at all.

So here I am once again… I have broken through the 30 pound mark for the third time, and hopefully the final time!

I am about half way through my journey and although I was forced to see what Nutrisystem has taught me, I am so happy to have the plan and the support from the online Nutrisystem community as well as you all! With encouragement and support I can finally see a pinhole of light through this tunnel we are traveling through and it’s exciting!

My run is on for this week!

That puts me at  31.2 lbs in 36 weeks

Kaytlin did not use the “fitness room” but spent quite a bit of time in the pool playing with the babies. That alone will burn a lot of calories. I am usually famished when I do that.
 
She also enjoyed her food and didn’t quite nitpick the food as much as I did. I believe her portion sizes are down, though, and her meals were pretty balanced.
 
I am so proud of how we both did this week…
 
This week Kaytlin lost 1.2 lbs…

That makes a total of 41 lbs in 32 weeks!

    This is great! Congrats and keep up the good work. I love hearing success stories…it gives me proof that there is indeed a light at the end of the tunnel ;) I’m on my own hike back down to my prebaby weight- I’m down 40lbs (note that it’s taken me 18 months-yikes) and still have another 30lbs to go!
