Weekly Weigh In Weeks 18 & 14: 3/11/11 #NSNation

weeklyweighinIt’s been 18 weeks on Nutrisystem for myself and 14 weeks for Kaytlin.

So, remember last week when I promised to work out 2-3 days a week. I am embarrassed to admit it, but I broke my promise. I did do Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred once, but the rest of the week I focused on just moving. The weather is getting nicer and I am enjoying going outside with the kids and doing some yard work while they swing, slide and jump. Thank you Mother Nature for hearing my cries a couple of weeks back. Hello Mr. Sun!

I made just a couple of changes this week. I avoided our homemade popcorn during the week days, if I was out of food and starving I focused on veggies & fruit instead of saying “eff it” and eating whatever. Lastly, I decided that I would drink my coffee and Diet Coke as usual, but after 3 or 4 pm I would only drink water. I am not a water lover by any means and the only time I ever really want water is in the summer and I am boiling hot. So getting in 2 bottles of water nightly made a nice difference, I think.

Making those small changes made a big difference this week. Movement, fruits & veggies and water =

I lost 4.2 lbs this week!

That puts me at 29.2 lbs in 18 weeks!

Kaytlin is going steady and strong. I know that some days she is so busy she sometimes doesn’t get in all the food she should, but she is avoiding temptation and trying new things.

Kaytlin broke down and finally ordered new jeans for herself. She tried them on at the store and came home and ordered the size that fit in a tall (they don’t carry talls in our store) and waited for their arrival. It took 5 days and when they arrived… they were too big!

I am so proud of her :O).

I now have a full week alone with her (she’s on spring break) and I will get a better glimpse into her daily food life.

So, this week….

She lost 1.6 lbs.

That makes a total of 32.4 lbs in 14 weeks!

You are sooooo close to the 30 pound mark! I see 30 pounds gone by next week for you!!!! Great video! That is awesome! Very informative! I love the chocolates too! And we like the same veggie! I have started eating the turnip greens for the same reason. And I LOVE the pretzel and cheese idea! I am going to try that. I am so proud of you! You have done amazing! Keep it up!

Thanks Heather :O). I was kind of hoping to hit 30 this week, but that’s pushing it I guess LOL. I had to come up with a new video idea, you did my idea last week LOL. Aren’t cucumbers the BOMB!? lol The pretzel and cheese thing really fills me up. Can’t wait to see your incredible loss next week! All that new muscle is going to burn calories a lot faster!

Thanks Brett! Yeah, it can be a detriment though. I think the body gets too used to status quo when you eat the same things over and over. Thanks for the support, you guys are amazing!
